swalkI'd call RFK a subtle change in itself, but you can't just add RFK to the current NS2, you would get way too much PRes


Spastic. RFK is a huge change and of course it implies complete rebalancing of all other res costs.


What it does is solve fadeballs and incentivise PvP. None of this DOTA laning mentality shite that we have now. This is first and foremost an FPS - fuck off, PvE/RTS

Fade upgrades, can we do something about those cuz they are a fucking joke atm. Remove Vortex+Stab and lets get something useful like Metabolize, or really anything -.-

i don't think rfk is a great idea,that will be to random when one carry... and gain so much ressource... ,just give a penalty when you are died and don't gain any pres when you are died.


I think that the main purpose is to change the teck tree alien... and add some new ability???
i think we all agree that we see all time mucus,crag,whipe...

They have no early ,no mid game ,no endgame in com alien... If we nerf too much com alien ,we will do nothing in com alien... just press 3 button for upgrade... Just add some toy for com alien and ugprade toy :D

We evolve more in com marine that in alien.
Do not make too much porwefull alien ,just try to balance. with something to do in com alien pls* :D

I think we can do 1000 things to improve ns2 ,just keep in mind to balance all...

i remember that in vanilla we do nothing in com and generally the com was gorges ... (i don't know if it's the solution)

Keep in mind that balance changes have different impact on the divisions.

The old fade for example:
In the lower division we had 80% alien wins in the past while premium and div1 players can handle them.

Some little tweaks for costs, maturity time and a small cooldown here and there are ok.
But dont bring back old game mechanics that didnt work in the past.

The 6 premium division teams should not be the only measurement.

I would like:

1) Add lasers! Everyone loves lasers, they're awesome!
2) All the weapons from the new Call of Duty, cuz they'd be awesome
3) Flyable UFO's. Always wanted to fly one
4) Zombie mode! We NEED more zombies in games! Idk why no one thought of this
5) Perks, Kill streak rewards and micro transaction bonuses

@dePARA It's not possible to balance the game for everyone; People that can aim, people that cant, people that play 80+hrs a week and people that play 20hrs a week. You've got more chance of finding Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 than getting a patch/mod coming out for this game that balances it. That's why we should just add zombies and all play co-op

We had these superfast nearly unkillable fades in the past wich ends in boring rounds in lower divisions.
You can counter these fades with perfect aim and perfect positioning but there is a reason why half of the teams playing in lower divisions:
They didnt have these abilitys.

Thats why things should changed carefully.

Btw. Zombies are are to casual for an indie game i think.
