We have some main problems with people who are playing the game for ages and still are shit. Either they don't want to learn it (e.g. Arj) or they just have a brain which is as big as a bogey (e.g. MaaD). Here should work a system called  " G P L " which protects normal people and almost normal people (like me) from this scum. Just remove them from every gather and stuff like that.

I cant be arsed playing with people like MAAD in a gather. If i am telling them stuff to do, they either deny or know better (i am talking about situations in which i was the team captian).

I am almost like a nazi calling this type of people a race. The dirty race. But i wont further explain this. It is not to skin colour or religion it is to BRAIN.

MAAD is sounding like a nazi in a gas mask and is shit too PLEASE PROTECT THE LEAGUE OF THESE TYPE OF PEOPLE.

There are planty of new russian players who are trying to play gather, it's good. But they don't know english, so they can't play properly as a gather team! So yea.

Also i saw players from nst or gayble registering here just to paly gather, AGAIN it's good. But they playing like on a public, running around don't listening to the com and so on...

There was a latvian player Mavrael ( or something like that ), who joined gather without having ventrilo, he thought that pcw are played with voice_enable 1 using game microphones, so teams have to wait him do download vent, install it, get hes mic on, and only then started to play. And he is terrible.

Invite only gather channels have been tried in the past, they all failed within weeks.

When NS2 comes out, I'll probably add invitational gathers too. This means all active members can start up custom invitational gathers and invite their friends to join it. Same will go for national gathers. All of this will be in addition to normal gathers.

For normal gathers, any kind of filter is really counter-productive. We don't have that many players. Of course people coming from public communities will have no clue at start, but that's how everybody is in the beginning. We cannot be too stingy with this size of scene. Its a trade-off but I'd say its worth it.

whole point of the gather is to get activity. one way of it is to get new players into the league. if you get pubbers to start playing competitive, any other way, feel free to tell it to the staff. until than, i think it should stay like this, only ban ppl if they act inapropiet (like described in the gather rules). end of story.

There is a server called NS pros only. That might be what you are looking for. Very elitist, very active, very douchebaggy.

gathers are to recruit more players into NS and competitive

GPL = less gathers = less players who want to play = less future competitive players = NS dying

Some days ago, I played with one "russian" who didn´t obey a shit.It´s sad loose rounds because one of your team don´t obey but I never insulted him.

 

If we play 20 daily gathers, it´s normal do not obtain the same quality level in all.

 

But macpersil is complaining about other thing.Mp is talking shit of me because I didn´t obey(he saids).But mp dons´t speak a shit about his kiddie attitude in gathers, whinning all players. We have a new admin(Fana) but nothing changed.There is the same thing(insulting, racism, nL banning without reason from their server,etc).

That´s not the keen attitude we want for a community who doesn´t grow more(obviously) and some of that "pro" idiots should think if they want to keep alive that "shit" because it´s the only "shit" you can play nowadays.

Maybe you should get out of the server when our 6th needs to get in.

You are one of those idiots that is still spreading shit in ENSL and in the NS scene, first of all, we were playing a pcw on ENSL #4, the server was full and our 6th had to get in, the specs (including you MAAAD) didnt leave or didnt even bother to reply, after 5 minutes of asking we swapped to ENSL #5 (where i have admin), the same spectators come back? NO THANKS.

Then there's the Gathers, you don't listen, you do what you want, if the captain gives you a role, its better to just do it then just fuck around and do whatever you want, you've done this multiple times now, and i seriously dont understand why jiriki or another admin is not punishing you for ruining gathers.

Logan is really sensitive to any critique but he's not the only one like that. In every community, some people will not get along with some others. There are always difficult personalities, and if pure idiocy would be a qualifcation for a ban, I'd have banned quite many long time ago.

And frG, yes Logan seems to be incompatible with MP and Dogo for example, but other than that, its possible to play with him. I really really don't want to micro-manage inter person drama.

Yes I think captains should have more authority, but if you say like "perm or leave", you kind of give him an option to quit, and if I then I ban, should I ban him for not listening to the captain?

In any case, I added a rule about listening to the captain. So if people don't listen, they may get banned.
