profs allready played vs rambos, in pcws. not only did we take some rounds, the rounds we lost were definetly not a stomp and ended after 30 minutes, and easily could have gone the other way.

and at that time, we didnt even have tweadle.

As for NewstyleD, for those who wonder, its a bit complicated. At first RAMBOs didnt have 6 players on match day and told newstyled they wouldn´t played. When they found mercs NewstyleD didn´t have 6 players anymore.

The rest of the whine from NewstyleD is based on me not allowing them a forfeit win. RAMBOs had found a [suitable] merc, but one of the CL in NewstyleD wanted to deny the use of a merc and claim a forfeit win anyways.

I, of course, did not accept this kind of behavior wich eventually led to NewstyleD refusing to play - hence these delayed finals.

In necros's defence, div2 has been boring for proffesors so far. Rules are rules and they've been accepted without much fuss but you can imagine what it's like for necros to see a forfeit awarded to Newstyled forcing profs into div2 where they clearly don't belong. Newstyled then go on to do absolutely fuck all wasting their spot while proffesors participate in lopsided div2 playoffs.

I think it's understandable that he's argued his case for newstyled's spot.

Dunno why it took so long for that forfeit, especially compared to our rather fast forfeit win against Profs.
We didn't play a single pcw the entire season and imho we didn't deserve the semi-final spot. I'm sorry for Profs, who probably would have put up a great fight against rambos.

I do agree with you that the finals tend to be 'missfit' most of the time.

I'd urge the ENSL staff to consider a div 1 and div 2 next season to make sure the finals are right next time (and making the matches more appeiling).

I shouldnt forget to mention that there is mostly one or two teams that 'fuck up' the balance (like professors starting as div 2 team and creating a div 1 team later in the season).. so its not ALL your fault Danny :P

As Eistee said, not everyone in NewstyleD wanted forfeit but actually wanted to play the game instead.

It seems that some of the players think rule nr 8 of ENSL is just something you follow if you want or feel like. It is not, it is actually enforced and I suggest people re-read it every once in a while.

the only reason profs may be considered "div 1 standard" is cuz there are 10 teams.
